Born in Praia da Vitória, Terceira (Azores). Professor at the Faculty of Arts in Lisbon. Extremely gifted communicator on radio, television and as a teacher. Poet, novelist and essayist. His work deals with the theme of insularity, where the reality of life in the Azores is clearly present. |
